HOW TO APPLY ACCENT LASHES (NO LINER)
- Apply eye makeup as usual.
- Curve the lashes to match your eye line by bending them around the magnets. Once you put them on, you'll see what we mean. If they look too straight, remove & curve again until they fit.
- Apply mascara. This helps to blend your lashes seamlessly with the Magnetic lashes.
- Using the applicator tool or your fingers, place a TOP PIECE over top of your natural lashes. Using your other hand, place a BOTTOM PIECE (the ones with the red dots) underneath the lash until the magnets click together. Your natural lashes will be sandwiched between the two pieces. This may take you a few times at first, but once you figure out your unique way of doing it, you'll repeat it the same way every time. It's a little like using contact lenses- strange at first, but once you find your own method, it gets easier.
- Curve, brush & blend the lashes if needed.
- Add some extra mascara to your natural lashes near the inner corners of your eyes that aren't covered by the lashes. Voila!
HOW TO APPLY FULL STRIP LASHES (NO LINER)
- If you are using Full Strips with 5 magnets, trim them to fit your eyes first. Be sure not to trim too far. Better to cut too little, than too much!
- Apply mascara. This helps to blend your lashes seamlessly with the Magnetic lashes.
- Using your fingers, place a TOP LASH PIECE on top of your natural lashes. The bottom pieces will have red dots.
- Using the other hand & the application tool, place a mini lash piece directly under a magnet as close to your eye line as possible until it clicks together. We recommend starting at the outer corner, but you may start at the inner corner or middle if desired..
- Continue to place as many mini lash pieces as needed along the magnets until secure. Some clients opt for one at each corner & one in the middle, but use as many as you need.
- If you are using 3-Way Full Strips, you will either have 2 or 3 magnets, and 2 or 3 corresponding mini lash pieces. You can also opt to use the long BOTTOM lash piece instead to secure UNDERNEATH your lashes for a fuller look. This can sometimes seem difficult at first, as you'll notice the magnets "fighting" to snap together when you don't want them to. Alternatively, to make things easier, you can simply stack the TOP & BOTTOM long lash pieces together and place them ON TOP of your natural lashes. With the other hand using the applicator tool, attach the mini pieces UNDERNEATH to each magnet.
- Brush & blend if needed. Voila!
HELPFUL TIPS
- The most important thing to remember is to NEVER EVER PULL THE LASHES APART BY THE HAIRS when the top & bottom pieces are together. Always SLIDE the magnets away from each other by using your thumb and index finger. This will force them apart without ripping the magnets or lash hairs off.
- Keep your lashes free from debris & bacteria by cleansing periodically. Swish lash in a bowl of warm water with facial cleanser. DO NOT FULLY IMMERSE. Dip the lash bands in and swish for a few seconds. Using a Q-tip or the included mascara brush, wipe away any makeup residue.
- To disinfect, spray lashes with 70% rubbing alcohol & allow to dry on a paper towel.
